Audio-Technica is a renowned Japanese company specializing in design, manufacturing, and distribution of high-quality audio equipment. Established in 1962, the company has gained global recognition in studios for its commitment to delivering exceptional sound — and their latest noise-cancelling headphones, the Audio-Technica ATH-S300BT, makes some waves — and cancels out the rest of the noise; keep reading for my thoughts!
Sound
Audio-Technica claims these headphones deliver a full-spectrum audio experience, and with AT’s rich experience in the professional sound industry with headphones like the ATH-M50x and the ATH-R70x, they have boiled down the pristine, clear sound of those headphones into the S300s. Considering the incredibly attainable price point of 99 USD, these headphones provide a genuine bang for the buck experience that gets the basics right.
Endurance
With a promise of up to 90 hours of playback time on a single charge, the ATH-S300BTs are no joke when it comes to endurance, with competitors topping out at half of that on an average; these headphones still manage 60 hours on the clock even with active noise cancellation (ANC) turned on, which is, if you ask me, a seriously impressive feat. When you eventually do run out of charge, the headphones also support fast charging, a three-minute charge providing up to 2.5 hours of playback time.

Creature Comforts
Other bells and whistles include Multipoint pairing which allows you to pair these headphones to two devices simultaneously for easy switching between a laptop and a phone, for example, and the low-latency mode, reducing the audio lag that can be a pain in the posterior for when you’re gaming or trying to watch content.
The Verdict
All in all, the Audio-Technica ATH-S300BT wireless over-ear headphones offer an impressive combination of extended battery life and affordability, making ANC technology attainable to the budget-conscious. If you’re in the market for ANC headphones, these are truly worth checking out!
