VERATIE swing into the hard rock indie scene with debut single “Ashes”

VERATIE might not be in your radar, for now. The band is an explosion of all the hard rock zeal the world has been missing. As an independent entity-they are able to unfold their creative spirit in the most magnificent way possible. With their single, they make a hard landing into our tame, distorted lives. This is their single called Ashes.

You expect a lot when you listen to an artist the first time. It is natural, you’re in a natural state of judgement. VERATIE defies all expectations-with their superb opening riff. Not only is the ominous, colourful riff something that grabs your attention-it is tastefully done. The tones are whittled to its perfect essence-aspects that energize you through the verse section. Sarah Benwell delivers some pitch perfect vocals-with the kind of versatility that puts her on the map instantly. The riff complements the balance with raging licks that foreshadow the chorus. It is an eclectic blend of what is improbable. The production also ensures every tone and percussive beat is heard crisp-retaining their name in the back of your head.
