Tidal Water brings some amazing faces of rock with their EP, “Defiance”

The rock ravines echo with Tidal Water and their music. A band that loves music enough to dedicate so much time and detail to it, no wonder they have something catchy every time. Their latest song delivers on their promise. This one is called Defiance, and we get several versions of it.

The displacing of the percussions in this number has an epic feel to it. The song not only feels longer-good for us-but also allows the instrumentals to get experiment. In parts, you will hear some amazing piano parts which are rich and luscious. The vocals are strong and bold as usual, but have that David Bowie like flexibility to it. Guitar parts shred through the spotlight to make some magical movement. It keeps building to a crescendo, where instruments shine through to almost sail away from it. It is an amazing way to write a song, departing from the structure. In a way, this is its own kind of prog rock, where the verse, chorus and bridge blend in.

The original is the song sandwiched so well in the middle. If the radio edit could inspire you so much, imagine what the epic could do. The percussion is like a jungle beat, and the instruments go wild. As you’re looking at your chance for defiance, the style builds and mounts to make something inspirational. Tidal Water has been at the helm of indie rock greatness for long. A song like this just cements their legacy even more. You can hear the band having fun, exploring melodies and stretching themselves to become one amazing unit.

The drum and bass edit has a John Wick feel to it overall. It is an amazing layer to explore through a new lens. This is where you see how good the bands compositions can be. Tidal Water takes a whole new tonal bed with this mix. Papa J and Tidal Water’s Digital Noise is an experiment that would even make Trent Reznor jealous. Wonder what prompted them to use it for this song.

They also have their songs Corrupted and Imperfection, which has made quite the waves this year. The prolific band are always out to experiment and try new things. The latest songs might just put a smile on your face. It is this commitment to the art form-a nature of symbiosis-that the band takes on so well.
