The Radaman Song is an independent songwriting project by UK-based musician Pasquale “Paz” Ferrone. His latest single, Love You Anyway released on October 28, brings his songwriting into indie-pop. Ferrone writes all the music and lyrics himself, using AI for production and virtual performances rather than the creative process. His approach puts the song first, with the music taking centre stage over the identity of the performer. Also, his album WOMEN FIRST follows later this year.

Love You Anyway opens with soft, gentle acoustics, and one of its first lines, “I would have you anyway,” lets you know this track is going to be one for the yearners. The song sounds like splotches of pink and blue coming together over a memory you hold close of someone you love, even when things between you aren’t quite right.
“I love you all the same, no matter what you do to push me away” captures the kind of love that stays even when it has every reason not to. The gentle percussion slowly crescendos like a silk curtain swaying in the breeze, carrying the lyrics without ever taking up too much space. There is something tender about how the music holds these words, letting them settle rather than pushing their meaning too hard.

But the final verse brings a little ache into all that softness: “I call but you don’t answer, I speak but you don’t listen, your silence is killing me, but I love you anyway.” The love here isn’t blind to the hurt. It knows the silence, feels the distance, and still holds on. Love You Anyway sits in that difficult space between loving someone and knowing how much it costs, leaving you with the feeling of a memory you aren’t quite ready to let go of.

Figuring out my path while actively plotting ten others. Serious about my dreams with somewhat chaotic ambition. Will do anything for cats.
