San Sebastian is a Swedish singer and songwriter known for his unconventional musical styles, his ingenuity as an artist, and his unique charm, which he instils in everything he creates. He became known to the broader public when he participated in the national TV show, Swedish Idol 2022, where he finished in 4th place. The song is written by the famous artist Darin Zanyar and the songwriters Pär Westerlund and Petter Tarland. The song is produced by Johan Kronlund The song tells the story of a broken relationship, where one person is left behind, feeling shattered and powerless. Unable and unwilling to let go, they cling to the memories of a love that once felt real and the hope that they might reunite. Despite knowing they will get hurt again, the chance to feel happiness, even briefly, makes the pain seem worthwhile. By combining vulnerable lyrics and expressive melodies with a more positive and hopeful production, the song illustrates all those people who put on a positive front and hide the real truth.
