Quilium is a bedroom producer from Seattle who’s holding onto their day job while making underproduced music strictly for fun. They’re creating because it feels good and because they genuinely love the process.
Quilium’s new album, “human void CRASS JUNKIE,” is out now. With 13 songs, it feels like a full-on ride through chaotic creativity, dark energy, and mind-bending sound design. It starts with “rough DRAFTING (with Froggy Z & Swift ONE),” and right away, you get fun, peppy, carefree vibes. There’s no sense of limitation or predictability here. Just tracks built on momentum and “just happening” energy, which makes the whole project immediately feel addictive in the best way.

Then “argoNAUT” takes over and really plays with your mind. The psychedelic vibe is impeccable and intense. There’s also a dark, eerie aura sitting underneath everything. This is definitely not music for the faint-hearted. It’s bold, unsettling, and compulsively listenable if you like your hip hop to feel experimental and psychologically sharp.
Another standout is “art is DEAD (prod by CHAD.)”, a darkwave track packed with great synth textures and vocals that sound almost robotic, especially with the repeated “art is dead” echoing line. Between those moments, the rap verses hit with real power, thought-provoking, and purposeful. Even though the production is strange and shadowy, the ideas still land.

And then “sweep the KEYS” is a total surprise. It begins with melodious vocal work, then pulls in crisp, raw beats underneath it. That contrast makes it feel fresh and unexpected, like Quilium is constantly switching the rules to keep you locked in. “Human void CRASS JUNKIE” feels fearless, unpredictable, and full of atmosphere. Equal parts playtime and psychological intensity.
