Let us find out what the listeners can expect from this EP.
The latest EP by Nick Andrea, Delorian Delusions, consists of four songs that are classic hits of the 80s. It starts off with a cover of Billy Idol’s song, White Wedding. This version of the song is more blues-rock in nature with some quirky guitar licks that add a different character to the song.
Next up comes a very delta blues version of ZZ Top’s classic, Sharp Dressed Man. While it starts off on a traditional acoustic blues vibe, it gradually shifts slightly to the rock soundscape. The groove is quite cool and instantly makes you want to tap your feet to it.
Eric Clapton’s hit song, Forever Man is the track that follows in this EP. Nick’s take on this track is more or less closer to the original. What makes this cover version stand out is the use of percussions along with the drums that adds a different layer in the groove. Besides that, the guitars sound quite clean and keep the pulse of the song alive.
The EP concludes with Nick’s cover of Dire Straits’ all-time classic, Money For Nothing. It surely does justice to the original version, but with a slightly different touch. Nick’s voice sounds very soothing for this song, which almost kind of fits perfectly.
