Mohit Mukhi Explores the Art of Feeling Stuck in More Ways of Going Nowhere

There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from doing everything you are supposed to do and still feeling stuck. Mohit Mukhi finds a fitting title for that feeling with More Ways of Going Nowhere, a four-track EP released in September 2026.

Across fifteen minutes, its song titles sketch a familiar cycle: making an effort, repeating the day, watching life unfold, and wondering where the time went.

Do My Bit And Let It Be: Learning to Let Go

The opening title sounds like a negotiation with oneself. There is responsibility in “do my bit,” but also a limit in “let it be.” That tension gives the EP its most interesting starting point. We are encouraged to keep trying, to improve, to make something happen. Sometimes, though, letting go is the only reasonable response.

Rather than reading the title as defeat, there is something quietly reassuring about its suggestion of accepting our limitations. Perhaps doing enough really can be enough.

Yet Another Day: The Weight of Repetition

If the first song introduces acceptance, “Yet Another Day” points toward the less glamorous business of waking up and doing it all again.

Even the phrase feels tired. It suggests an ordinary day rather than a dramatic turning point. That ordinariness matters. Most periods of uncertainty do not arrive with cinematic breakdowns. They happen between errands, messages, deadlines, and a calendar that keeps moving regardless of how we feel.

The title captures that peculiar experience of being busy without necessarily feeling any closer to where we want to be.

TV Show: Watching Life Happen

“TV Show” is perhaps the EP’s most intriguing title. It brings to mind the strange distance between living a life and observing it, almost as though we are spectators of our own routines.

There is room for humor in that idea, too. Modern life can feel absurdly scripted, with the same conflicts returning for another episode. Placed after “Yet Another Day,” the title introduces a different perspective on repetition. Perhaps the problem isn’t simply being stuck, but becoming accustomed to watching ourselves remain there.

These Days: Living With Uncertainty

At five minutes and twenty-six seconds, “These Days” is the EP’s longest track and closing chapter.

Its title feels like something people say when they cannot quite explain what’s happening. It is vague, but recognizably human. Not every difficult stretch comes with a neat explanation. Ending here leaves the record’s central idea open-ended, which seems appropriate.

Final Thoughts

Mukhi has explored monotony and uncertainty in his earlier songwriting, making this EP’s framing feel like a continuation of that conversation. What connects these four titles is their resistance to easy answers. Sometimes progress means carrying on without pretending to have everything figured out.

And sometimes, “these days” is explanation enough.
