Isle7-Beeline | Cruise with the blues

Isle7 have been active for more time than I have consciously listened to music. Their album in 2004 called Counting the Days had some great tracks, and they’ve had a rocky road since then. Armed with new tools after the pandemic and parts of life, they’ve released a new single called Beeline.

Now, I do very strongly feel Isle7 sound like Nickelback in some cases. I would like to also go on record saying I love that band. The hate is some internet crap I don’t seem to understand, like blockchain. With a bluesy sound, gruff vocals that revive your energy and will to listen to a song’s lyrics, Isle7 use their several years of gig experience to make a track that goes down like cinnamon and honey. Smooth and refreshing.

They could have sold out and chosen a much more mellow and accepted sound. Isle7 refuse to back down, their songs having that kinetic energy that can make a hydropower plant overload. Their sound has improved by quantum leaps, and each note is distinct and focused in its attack. Their series of single releases teases for their album that will come out soon this year. Old Council boasts to be their best work so far, so better be prepared for some head-turning tracks playing at your next party for people to sing along to.
