When asked how the idea for the song came about, the songwriter, vocalist, and lead guitarist of The Spitting Pips shared a personal story. Zachariah Storm revealed that in much drunkenness, he aspired to impress his fiancée with a song about her gorgeous green eyes. And voila! The birth of a romantic rock swagger.
