Sharl, the pop queen from Australia, treats us to her latest pepping modern pop funky single titled Outside. Released as a single it is the ninth and penultimate track on her dazzling debut album City Lights. Her record awed us as a work of pristine and versatile quintessential pop. The Melbourne-based Sharl was raised in the UK and was previously signed to an indie label there. With her debut album, she establishes herself as a firebrand and versatile artist.

Outside is a 90s pop song that mixes house with a swag attitude. A song you cannot miss and cannot fail to groove to! A chorus that you wanna listen to several times with the bass line, its crowning jewel. The wonderful song has a vibe that is stunning with some stellar production and performances. That pre chorus on this song is insane and the highlight of this song.
With a simple catchy classic pop piano riff with some mesmerizing vocals by SHARL, the stage is set on fire. Along with the groovy bass line here which is out of the world.
