NJ- Red | Alluring

As a rising star in the music industry, NJ has already accomplished a lot in her young career. She released her debut EP, Platinum, in 2021 and has since released a string of excellent singles, including “MANGO” and her latest, “RED.” NJ, based in Atlanta, has always loved singing, and it shows in her work. She has a beautiful voice and a unique style that sets her apart from other artists in her genre. Ariana Grande, Audrey Nuna, and Remi Wolf are some of her musical influences. With no press or advertising since releasing her debut song “POV” in 2019, she has gathered over 80k+ streams on the single “Hypnotized.”

NJ has released a new single, ‘Red.’ ‘Red’ is a song about the conflicting emotions that can come from receiving conflicting messages and having poor communication in a relationship. She perfectly captures the frustrating, seductive, and captivating feeling of being caught in the throes of a passionate relationship. Her sultry and enticing vocals are sure to please, and she has a true gift for directing the music and keeping your attention focused on the song completely. I loved how the instrumental moves at a slow pace and creates a sensual vibe all along. She delivers the lyrics with a sense of yearning and anger, perfectly explaining the feeling of being caught in the middle of a relationship that isn’t working. A lot of synth-pop is incorporated into the song with a hit of R&B. The song’s haunting melodies and relatable lyrics will stay with you long after the last note fades. The tranquil yet seductive mood of the song will put you at ease, making it the ideal choice for unwinding after a long day.

Enjoy listening to Red here.
