A combination of bedroom pop and indie rock, 21&WILD is an ode to turning 21 in the internet era. The song gives you major pastel vibes and gives you a glimpse of 2010s pop but more fresh. The song is defined by a fun beat and danny beau’s beautiful vocals. I think my favourite part of the song is towards the end that really gives you an unplugged-acoustic vibe that end with the lines, “Until we die, we’ll be 21&WILD.” I wouldn’t be surprised to find this song on a playlist with Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Lana Del Ray and Conan Grey.
danny beau definitely brings you pastel and atmospheric vibes that I’d expect out of a coming-of-age movie. 21&WILD is an expression of youth and angst and joy! It’s quite literally a dreamy song for driving with the windows down and screaming at the top of your lungs. If you’re looking for a fun, upbeat and nostalgic song, 21&WILD is the one for you!
