Creature can be broken down as a new-wave fever dream that morphs into a different story by the time it is done. This track is from his new album to be released in March, Devotion. With vocals sounding like Dave Gahan and electronica by the Talking Heads, Andrew has taken the best of both worlds. His music infuses parts of folk and acoustic music as well, creating this liquefied poetry you see crystallize as time passes by. It truly is mesmerizing to listen to.
The song has definitive two parts within it genre wise. It tends to get complex at moments, the way the emotions are at play. If this track is Andrew’s icebreaker as an artist to the world, he’s done a spiffing job of it. That was the most English I could go. You need to listen to the track to understand the depth, words will always fall a few precise sentences short.
