Since 2007, Aaron and Niels have collaborated on a variety of projects, but they have just now decided to form an official duo for their neo-folk music endeavor. Aaron and Niels, through their project YORIGE, are working to promote traditional treasures and boost national confidence and awareness. By modernizing these art and historical legacies, they’re ensuring that they’ll be around for future generations to enjoy. This is especially important right now, in light of the current political climate. Aaron and Niels are ensuring that these traditions will not only be preserved but also given new life.
Yorige’s new single “Kalėdų Belaukiant” ,from the upcoming collaboration EP with Žemyna Trinkūnaitė, is heart-touching. Many people think of Christmas as a time for friends and family to get together and celebrate.
