Hounds Haul – Silver Shoal | Hard-Driving

Founded in 2019, in Buckinghamshire, Hounds Haul is a five-piece band that grooves! Founded by frontman, Adam Bosworth, Hounds Haul increased in size with the addition of the bass player, Jamie Smith. the two then met synth & keys player, Rien De Keyser, and lead guitarist, Alex Ablett. With various influences coming in, the band then found their newest addition, drummer Jake.

Their latest release, Silver Shoal, is a powerful, hard-driven track that goes extremely hard. The vocals on the track showcase Adam’s sound and his dream for Hounds Haul. The instrumental seems to compliment this sound so well. The synth stands out significantly, giving the track a percussive as well as melodic effect. The lead guitar really cuts cleanly through the mix, driving it forward along with the vocals. However, the drums seem to really tie the whole track together with the hard-hitting nature gathering all the energy. Moreover, the band as a whole unit is absolutely in sync. You can’t find too many bands with this kind of chemistry today.

I can tell you that this band is so tight and coherent that they’ve got chops! They’ve already been featured on BBC Introducing and have a steady producer in Ben ‘Faz” Farestvedt and have a long way to go. However, if you jump on the bandwagon right now, I can assure you that you’ll have great music to listen to and show your friends!

I listen to and make silly noises while analysing why people behave the way they do.
