Q: Hey Terrarri! Great work on your new single ‘Pull Up.’ The song is
very catchy and has a great hook. How did you come up with the entire
tune?
A: How I came up with the entire tune? So I scrolled through one of my favorite producer’s beats and I just allowed it to speak to me. I would hear sounds that are magical and would come up with a melody on that particular sound. From then on, I started writing and pre-recorded the song in my bathroom. I created my own little world, my own space and my imagination took care of the rest.
Q: It’s great to see you working on this song with Carnell! What role
did he play in the composition of the song? I’m also curious if you’ve
worked with him before and how it went.
A: The song was meant to have good vibes and positive energy. We would never talk about hurting or killing people in our songs. Carnell is entertaining when it comes to freestyle rapping. So his role was to finish the song out, leaving listeners wanting more! I believe that I have the catchy hooks, melodies & style, while he brings the witty wordplay and flow. We’re not the Migos, but we make a pretty good duo when it comes to rapping together.
Q: I see you are mainly into HipHop and Rap. How did you go about
choosing this genre? Also, are you experimenting with any new genres?
A: Although I chose HipHop and Rap as my main genre, I consider myself an ARTIST. A lot of rappers from my city only want to talk about violence. I want to bring something different on the other hand and separate myself. I would like to experiment in all different types of genres.
Q: Were you always interested in music? How did you get into the industry?
A: I love music! Music is very influential and motivating. If I ever feel any type of way about anything? I would listen to music. It moves me. Music makes me want to take action. That’s just how I see it. I got into the industry by actually taking my talents to the studio and releasing them publicly.
Q: Which musical artists have influenced your work the most?
A: SahBabii, Lil Nas X, and Ariana Grande. Sahbabii has those addicting melodies. Lil Nas X has catchy songs, and Ariana Grande has a soothing voice. This is how they have influenced my work today.
Q: What’s next on the radar from Terarri?
A: I’m working on my first ever debut EP called ‘Poetic Mirrors’ and I would like my EP to be released on my birthday, which is August 24th. We’re also getting ready to be in the creative process of shooting a music video for my new single, P U L L U P.
