Luna Keller – High Low High Low

High low high low is Spanish-German singer Luna Keller’s latest single, a tune that quite literally represents the tortuous vicissitudes of the ro-o-ollercoaster that is life. The song finds the juxtaposition of these high and low dispositions, to identify the natural anxieties and uncertainties that come part and parcel with life’s exultations. She was inspired by the polarisation of moods that came from lockdown and isolation, and I think this lends to the universality of this song’s experience as well, as many of us have experienced similar emotional turmoil this year. Luna is a singer-songwriter with strong folk- and pop- influences, and makes use of her powerfully raw and pragmatic voice to deliver a heart-warming and real listening experience. Give this young, up-and-coming singer a minute of your time.
