The rhythm has its way
The Wild creator gives you a steady pulse in this one. The opening chord chugs on as the lyrics come in with the familiar zeal. It is one of those songs where you get addicted to the verse section. You Citizen makes it look easy, whereas the play with the instruments is the highlight. Bass tone dominates the feel of the song overall-while harmonies come on in the bridge. It is a lucid moment, yet gives you a lot to consider.
You can imagine the crowd participating in the track with passion and excitement. By the time you hear the pattern once, you’re roped in by the familiarity. Bill composes with a poetic theme in mind, whittling into perspective the divergent sound bytes with his clever wordings.
