Thirteen Paris Vandals unearths himself as the master of tones. It is that precarious test with music that develops into the haunting sound of his songs-and the experience is otherworldly. As a performer and producer, it is like the movie has been scripted, directed, edited and published by him. This is his latest single, Spots That Cover the Sun.

Breathe in, and don’t hold your breath. Thirteen Paris Vandals is now responsible for your thematic unwinding, and it is a glimpse at multi-dimensional astronomy. The author of this track goes the extra step to make sure the footprint is gentle, yet the experience is for a lifetime. The acoustic strums are accompanied by resonating melodic harmonies. Percussions melt away in the background, while the vocals fabricate an experience that is more than words. The saxophone is a brilliant touch, adding a lot of tenor and texture to the song, in different ranges. Instead of having similar tonalities leading to monotony, there is a colourful mixture of many instrumental pockets. The guitar’s wail has to be my favourite, the bends almost approaching a nostalgic edge in your mind. Time rushes by quickly, as the song diffuses into your expression and eventually into a smile. Effortlessly dexterous.
