The Big Happy partake in the party rock n roll groove with their single, “The Road”

The Big Happy are your flood of dopamine for the day. Maybe even month, for that’s how catchy their songs are. This is purpose, found in and through music. The 4-piece band from Long Island, NY, has created a magnificent precedent as a collective that looks for the greater good. If they don’t find it, they make it. This is their latest single with Oogee Wawa, called The Road.

A journey to remember

A musician has to travel. Let me correct that. Every human, goes through a journey in life. That’s more philosophical. No metaphor is better than the road, representing all the paths and micro travels we take in life. The Big Happy brings an incredible flow with their swinging rock vibe, while creating a catchy melody that will remain memorable. This is the kind of music that makes the crowd bounce while the band make the stage regret its weak structure. They imbibe elements of hip-hop in the verse, along with the resounding energy of their special instrumentals. There is a funky feel to their music, while still blending ingredients of the extraordinary, always challenging the norms.

From their 2023 album So Far, So Good, the band has been taking massive leaps. Every song has an element of relatability, the groove is great, and the band sounds like they’re having the time of their life. It is an antidote to the boredom and repetitive energy we feel in the present, and how change is welcome, always. Listen to their brilliant sound here and dance to the flow with us! Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
