Our Demise has a crushing presence from the moment you press play. It is a deathcore band that is driven, with purpose and passion behind a genre that needs you to be extensively creative. Some wrong moves, and you can be listening to regurgitated crap. Not this band. They make sure they have studied the scriptures, and then write their own. This is their latest single, Vile Embrace.
It is a band that has blown our mind prior with their EP, Insidious. Their potential cannot be quantified, they’re treating every song like their debut. It isn’t about getting recognised anymore, but to take flight within a genre that they love. Their signature is a dark, tightly wound sound that explodes in moments you least expect it. Annihilating riffs, razor sharp precision and bewildering lyrics will keep you aghast, in the good way. Our Demise channel a representation of death that is not only poetic, but carries its own reward.
