Order of Owls treat us to hard rock harmonies with their latest, “What Becomes”

Order of Owls has what it takes to make the rock drive home. Their energy is ridiculous, and they bring some heavy lyrics when they come to town with their new music. Their latest song is a hard rock gem, and there are too many things to fall in love with. This is called What Becomes.

Order of Owls create rock ripples

Usually there are elements of the band that become the tone. It is an exciting way of knowing a signature warmth the group has. Here, Order of Owls have a unified tone which I think cannot be replicated. They are delivering Sevendust level aggression, with the melodic spine this kind of rock requires as well. Their latest song has that riff and tone that blossoms and blooms inside, within ink black. It has a solid chorus part which becomes your instant favourite.

The vocals have a mix of the gruff aggression and melodic lead you’d want to hear in any rock song. The well crafted bridge has a jazzy refresh to it, and you wait with bated breath for the aggressive return. However, the band doesn’t want such an easy way back. The off-roading is a whole other journey, which creates an instrumental opus you’ll spend your time headbanging to. Let’s not forget that delicious nugget of a solo that Jake Weber absolutely nails.

Order of Owls are getting warmed up like this, they will always try to see beyond the folds of the rock they currently play. Listen to their rocking single here, and check out Speak Up as well! This song is what rock becomes:

Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
