Cyprus-based musician Aleph, the creative force behind Watch Me Die Inside, returns with a new single ‘Elevate’. Known for bringing together elements of progressive metal, electronic music and alternative rock, Aleph has developed an experimental approach to songwriting that explores psychological and philosophical themes.
‘Elevate’ begins with a gentle piano introduction, setting a reflective mood as the synths enter the arrangement. The textures expand the sonic landscape, giving the track an atmospheric character. There is a measured sense of progression here, with each additional layer contributing to the anticipation of something considerably heavier.
The track’s most appealing quality lies in its gradual escalation. What begins as a relatively understated composition develops into a much more forceful musical statement, eventually culminating in a heavy finale with growls and heavy riffs. The contrast between the opening passages and the concluding intensity gives the arrangement its dramatic character. The production also play an important role in sustaining the atmosphere as the composition gathers momentum.

Watch Me Die Inside’s earlier releases, particularly the Infinity Fall series, have demonstrated Aleph’s interest in exploring the complexities of human perception and identity. His music frequently brings together contrasting sounds and ideas, allowing introspection and musical intensity to coexist.
With ‘Elevate’, Aleph delivers another engaging addition to his discography. The song’s atmospheric beginnings, embellishments and powerful conclusion make for a satisfying progression, demonstrating Watch Me Die Inside’s ability to build an immersive listening experience through carefully developing musical arrangements. A good metal song I would recommends to anyone!
