If I were to give this song a storyline, then it would look like it was just out of an MGM movie production. The plot is set up around a lost, mythical ancient land, where sound is their language, and the story is about the peak of that civilisation. The drum beats just like people’s heartbeats, dancing in their ecstatic synth rhythm, along with the triumphant chorus welcoming a new age.
The track doesn’t rush and carries a balanced momentum. It rises slowly to its peak, transporting its listeners into pure bliss, and craftily releases the tension. In essence, ‘Starting Lineup Anthem’ is an anthem that calls you to your aware presence.
