Krey Galin has released a new EP, “Beni Yaktin.” It opens with the self-titled single, “Beni Yaktin.” The track blends Arabic influences with a kind of Indian folk flavor, and the result is instantly engaging. It’s driven by really bouncy beats and hooking strings that keep pulling you back in. On top of that, the vocal performance is happy, passionate, and extremely uplifting, like the song is naturally smiling while it moves.
The EP then shifts into “君は僕を燃やす,” which feels like a proper folksy Turkish song. It has upbeat, dance-friendly beats, and the vocal delivery is hushy yet sultry, with a mysterious edge throughout. The whole track carries this mysterious, teaser vibe, and the beat drops are executed really well. So well that they don’t just add impact, they elevate the entire aura of the song.

While Galin previously told her story in Japanese, here she turns to Bengali in “তুমি আমাকে জ্বালিয়ে দাও,” and the switch matters. The Bengali language brings its own emotional texture, making the longing and desire feel even more direct and instinctive. It lands perfectly with the song’s sensuality, giving the EP a deeper, more layered emotional arc.
