Having release their self-titled debut album only earlier this year, Doll Riot is back with their new punk rock single, Get a Life. The all girl garage band espouse intense chaos and trouble with their fastrack style. Blowing through like a tornado, the track is unabashedly subversive and disarraying.
The track is packed with an ever-growing intensity with mushrooming rage and explosive energy. Putting bad boy behavior on blast, the groovy hard rock riffs and tumbling beats construct monuments of madness and bedlam. Reminiscent of Avril Lavigne, the band wears their punk swag like a badge of honor.
A total banger, the track is a full on rage fest with rampaging guitars riffs and seething vocals. With outrageous confidence, the track scornfully pities fuck boys and strips them of their delusions. Imposing punk penalties, the beats are merciless and affronting while the riffs carry the cold fury of a black widow. The bass guitar grooves bites into the hard rock canvass and bleeds through the chorus and the verses. Like black fire, the song hisses and sputters with licks of bone chilling pandemonium.
With Elena Olszak on vocals, Ella Sauer on guitar, London Kraus on the bass and Lillee Gillum on the drums, Doll Riot employs the rebellious charm of punk-rock and reinstates the genre to its original glory. With sophisticated clarity and powerful delivery, the band revives teenage chaos and makes it fun.
