9 o’clock Nasty-Food on the Floor | Roadkill requiem

The layman has problems that could fill a phonebook sized diary and maybe more. This layman worries about eating their food from a plate. 9 o’clock Nasty disagree, and the anthem this time is very simple. Food on the Floor is their latest single, and its a two change fun track that finishes way too quick. Bon Appetit.

Using just the two chords to create a funky garage indie-rock anthem-this song doesn’t ask for much. Ted, Pete and Sydd have challenged themselves to name their songs such that it is the only result on the search bar. The album art will confirm its them. With a punk rock tracks timeframe, Food on the Floor is an original in every sense of the word. Their signature style of sing/yelling the vocals remains an iconic step to identify them. There is a melancholy as the song ends, and its to do with the song ending.

Their last single was Playboy Driver, about stud/speedfreak James Hunt. We don’t restrict ourselves in the spectrum of certain topics when 9 o’clock Nasty are being talked about. The absurdism must be capitalized. We might have another album coming from this ridiculous trio, and I for one can’t wait for such tracks to be included in it. Till then have a snack. And also, there’s food on the floor. If you want it.

Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
