PIAO- Tissues | Astounding

The singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Shanghai and raised in Toronto, PIAO is quickly making a name for herself in the music industry. With her emotive lyrics and powerful vocal range, she is forging her own path in the pop landscape. PIAO is a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music and has already had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best in the business, including T-Pain and Don Cannon. With these experienced professionals by her side, she can further develop her musical style and vision.

She has released a new album, “Tissues,” with 5 songs. The first song is “SFL.” The song is incredibly upbeat and catchy, and PIAO’s vocals are simply beautiful. Her voice has a similar quality to Ariana Grande’s, but with its unique flavor. The music is also filled with interesting sound effects that add an extra layer of excitement.

The second song, “Tissues,” starts off with a delicate, ethereal vocal performance from PIAO that instantly sucks you in. The production is minimal and dreamy, with a beautiful melody carrying the whole thing. As the song progresses, PIAO’s vocals become more and more emotive until she’s practically pouring her heart out by the end. It’s a truly stunning track, and it’s one that I just can’t get enough of.

In the third song, “spacebubu, ” PIAO performs layered vocals to show off her vocal control and prowess. The slightly somber undertone adds an interesting layer to the song. Amazing vocal nuances in the song astounded me. PIAO’s voice is otherworldly, and her vocal range is immense. She hits some incredibly high notes in “spacebubu” that will send chills down your spine. The production values of the song are top-notch, and the overall atmosphere is ethereal and dreamy.

The fourth song on PIAO’s album, “Haunted by potential,” evokes a mix of emotions.

The song begins with PIAO’s voice and some melodic piano playing. The lyrics are vulnerable and expressive, and they talk about anxiety while growing up and achieving goals. The lines, “If the younger me saw who I am today Would she wish that things had gone some other way,” are especially poignant. It resonates with me because it captures the feeling of not knowing whether we’re making the right choices in life.  This song is special to me because it helps me to remember that everyone feels this way at some point in their lives. We’re all haunted by potential. And that’s okay. What matters is that we keep moving forward and striving to reach our goals.

“Hannah Montana” is the perfect song to close out PIAO’s album. The song begins with a simple guitar chord but quickly builds into an extremely peppy tune with her highly energetic vocals. The drums and electric guitar add an extra layer of energy and excitement to the track, making it impossible not to move to the music.

PIAO’s latest album is a must-listen. Incredibly crafted lyrics, outstanding musical arrangements, and PIAO’s powerhouse vocals come together to create a truly moving experience. There’s something for everyone on this album, whether you’re looking for a heart-wrenching ballad or an upbeat anthem. PIAO’s vocal prowess is on full display throughout, and she demonstrates her incredible range and musicianship at every turn.
