Mo Douglas-The Most Expensive Restaurant In Portland | Table for all

The name Mo Douglas means many things to many people. An embarrassing revelation would be that it makes my mouth water. Before you express your confusion in the never used comment section, go through his catalogue. It has the most mouth-watering names for tracks you can think of. That’s when having a new single named The Most Expensive Restaurant in Portland makes sense.

From 2016, Mo Douglas has sautéed his passion for music with food. A chef as well as musician, he looks at the dirty hand genres of music, the garage rock, funk, rock music and explores it through the eyes of a professional chef. This leads to wide and varied results. This particular track is a funk number, that slowly dissolves into psychedelia. With the guitar sounds inspired by the trip band Babe Rainbow, this is a recipe that is sure to stand out. Insert Anthony Bourdains’ smile and thumbs up here.

The instrumental remains more or less repetitive, accordance with the theme. It just reflects how you don’t have to adhere to a one track mind and the world is wide open for exploration. This is a reduction of sorts that I’m really loving. I do not apologize for the unnecessary number of cooking references. This is literally a once in a lifetime opportunity. Till then explore Mo Douglas’ catalogue to find a surprisingly well curated range of genres. I’ll dine in this ridiculously priced restaurant till then.

Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
