Singer-songwriter and guitarist, Mick J Clark has been releasing music for more than a decade now. He is a very versatile musician and his songs range from pop and rock to Latin and country. Back with yet another Christmas track, Clark shares with us, the second song from his 2010 debut EP (Mick’s Christmas Mix), titled, ‘Sing Glory Glory Hallelujah’.
Just in time for the festive season, Clark’s getting his listeners acquainted with the spirit of the holidays. On this track that features lush string arrangements and mellow guitar strums, Clark sings about the Christmas experience in a really heartfelt way. –“’Tis the season for goodwill to all with gifts around the tree / Give us hope one day that he works can say, there is hatred no more / Sing glory glory hallelujah.”
It’s nice how the title of the song repeats after each of the lines in the verses. It kinda sticks to your head and the melody is quite catchy as well. The track also has subtle electric guitar phrases and some bell sounds that fit in with the mood of the track. Clark has done an amazing job writing this song, a great track for the holiday season!
Over 10 years later, Clark’s Christmas EP is still well appreciated in homes around the world. The four songs will certainly set the mood for any family get-together during the festival, so add his tracks to your playlist and have a great Christmas!
