Fantastic Mr. Marcel – Double-Edge Sword

Fantastic Mr. Marcel is a British pop artist and singer-songwriter. His musical personality is an extension of his artistic mind, emulating his state of mind and emotions using diverse styles. Known for his versatile portfolio, Marcel regularly dabbles in soul, hip-hop, and R&B. In his new single, Double-Edge Sword, Fantastic Mr. Marcel collaborates with fellow British artists, Minimalist, and Martin Oet. And together they fathom a fantastic soul space, alluring in its dark perspectives and poetic depth.

The artist seeks to craft music that perfectly articulates specific emotional themes. With intricate euphonic details and unique arrangements, he distills the soundscape to produce just that – pure emotion. This track encapsulates the essence of toxic romance. Despite the use of lilting synths, the dark insinuations of the lyricism simmer underneath. It swells into the basslines, rises with the beats and possesses the vocals.

The artist’s work is swayed by the stories of his mind. And in giving them life, he finds his art. He believes in chasing the emotion in music, “I believe that as an artist it’s your job to explore every avenue and create a form of art that fully expresses the emotion you would like your music to evoke.” He debuted in 2020 with his song, Silk and Thunder and has since released four new singles, each one blossoming with new emotions.

The track is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
