Flashback One hails from Saarbrücken, Saarland, Germany. Niederbuchsiten, a small Swiss village, was where he was born and reared. One year in middle school, he started making songs and performed in the huge school band as the second guitarist. Following his emigration to Switzerland, he created his first Soundset and began creating bootlegs in the “Hands Up” genre, which was his preference at the time. He caught the eye of other musicians after going to Switzerland and hosting musical programs on Swiss television with notable artists such as Helene Fischer. He’s also remixed for record companies all over the world. His collaborations and solo efforts have landed him on major compilation CDs and digital download sites.
His new release ‘Run Away’ is just as hypnotic as you’d hope. It’s got a modern pop feel, with all the hallmarks of a great electronic track. Synths, bass that makes your body want to move even though your mind is stuck in place, and a catchy beat that you can’t help but tap along to. The lyrics literally hit home to anyone who has been through a break-up and has a hard time moving on. The song opens with these incredible vocal layers, weaving together like an intricate tapestry that you want to get lost in. As the song progresses, though, it picks up momentum—and by the end, you’ll be racing along with it.
With an innovative approach, Flashback One defined himself early on as someone who prides himself on the creation and production of high-energy, provocative and fun music. This makes him a natural fit for the world of dance music and pop culture that demands joyfulness and energy. To put it simply: amazing soundtracks.
