Steven Levac is a brilliant guitarist and singer-songwriter based in Montréal. He moved at age 15 after he found his calling in music. Steven started out as an acoustic guitarist and then succumbed to the electric. While he was only 13, he had performed in front of a crowd and he just knew that he would be a musician. Steven Levac has been a part of many musical projects including a number of cover bands. However, he began working on his solo material in 2018 which he has released as parts of EPs and singles.
His track, Espoir, as a part of his self-titled EP is such a cool, indie track. The guitar work is simple, hypnotic and sounds so comforting. The melody moves you in spirit as well as emotionally. Steven Levac has a similar sound to Dashboard Confessional and I am here for it! The classic Alternative Rock (oxymoronic as it may be) sound that he brings with him is amazing. His versatility and dynamism shine through with how effortless his control over the song is. Moreover, the harmonies seem to fill the spaces so well as the instrumental does its part. Steven Levac has a soothing voice that could comfort anyone in any mood.
With a voice of an angel, the musical capabilities of a god and emotional range for days, Steven has crafted brilliant music. Espoir is just one song off of his latest EP which features much more of such brilliant tracks.
