Fiona Amaka’s new release, “Love that fills my world“, feels like a prayer, lighting up the surroundings instantaneously. It’s a beautiful, heart-warming track filled with gratitude and celebration of nature’s beauty. Fiona, in “Love that fills my world”, makes a statement to the world to stop the rush, take a break, and watch Mother Nature in her grace & beauty. In a world of speed, automation, and machine learning, the song takes us amidst the London wetlands and asks us to quiet down, observe, and learn from the natural environment.

The intimacy in the composition is palpable, as if Fiona is in direct conversation with the earth spirits. Unlike the usual indie soft rock from the Fiona Amaka Band, this version is soft and acoustic, highlighting her vocal reverence. The honest realisation in the line, “How could I doubt you in my life?”, is so profound. The notable proclamation, “When I know you, I know you. I know that you love me”, marks a terrific level of surrender & acceptance that one reaches in their spiritual, healing journey.
The official video of “Love that fills my world (acoustic version)” has been filmed in the London Wetlands and Wildlife Trust Centre, Barnes. The sepia and the other layering of colours used in the video gives the song an earthy feel. The visuals of Fiona walking among the many species of birds are such a delight to watch. This experimental, organic, folky track was produced in London in collaboration with guitarist Andy Zanini.
