Die Kammer Paves A Dark Indie Folk Path in Ignoring My Safeword’

Die Kammer is an Indie-Folk duo formed by musicians Marcus Testory and Matthias Ambré. Their brand of folk is not mainstream but is oriented to the absurd. Exploring dark themes like death, darkness, melancholy, and heartache, their soundscapes are often haunting. Many times, it is contemplative, matching philosophical lyricism with deep basslines and solemn vocals. In their latest track, ‘Ignoring My Safeword’, Die Kammer orchestrates the dance of love, presenting it as a push and pull of pain and pleasure. The soundscape is as layered and mysterious as the night. Listen Now!

It is fiery and passionate in its tragic narrative that teeters on the edge of eerie and hypnotic. An electro-acoustic hybrid that flowers with concept. As you listen to it, you can viscerally feel the outlandish elements coursing through the soundscape. The artists have extrapolated the feeling of heartbreak into avenues of dark mystique, ominous sonic moments, and tormented realities.
