BLR Hubba 2026 Kantha stage is gearing up to host one of its most exciting metal and rock showcases yet, bringing together legends, pioneers, and boundary-pushing artists from across India and beyond. Running at Freedom Park between 16-25 January 2026, this lineup proves that heavy music in India is evolving, expanding, and roaring louder than ever.
Who All Are Performing?
The biggest headline-grabber is undoubtedly Marty Friedman, the iconic guitarist known for redefining modern metal. On 18 January, Friedman brings his electrifying solo show to BLR Hubba, marking a rare opportunity for Indian fans to witness a global guitar hero up close.

Kerala’s progressive rock pioneers Motherjane return with Dobāreh, a powerful new chapter in their journey. Taking the stage on 16 January, the band promises a raw, spiritual, and reimagined sound.

Also on 18 January, Bengaluru-based metal act The Down Troddence unleash their socially charged blend of thrash, groove metal, and folk.

Adding global flavour to the lineup is Freak Audio Lab, led by Mattias IA Eklundh, featuring BC Manjunath. Their 24 January world premiere performance fuses bold guitar work with global influences,

Rounding out the bill is Ereimang, the Manipur-based act that blends traditional performance, pena, and heavy atmospheric distortion. Their immersive show on 18 January is set to be one of the most unique and emotionally sound performances of the festival.
