Ashot Danielyan’s ‘Australian Dawn’ is a Soft Bursting Pianic Expanse

Ashot Danielyan is a pianist and composer. He expands music into landscapes, detailed with texture, color, gradients, mood, and emotion. His latest release is ‘Australian Dawn’, a track that blends the mellow possibilities of dawn with the ethereal properties of water and sand. A stretch of song that is made with ripples, waves and insightful current. All forming an arc of feeling. It’s as if you’re watching a painting swirling into life.

The track has its own natural rhythm. Piano melodies set up within an atmosphere of otherworldly synths, bass grooves, and new age beats. Violins come in with a flush of sentiment. Its free-flowing sensibilities spread like waves gently crashing on the shore. Then, we see a jazz rain drench the scene. The artist uses it sparingly, allowing it to take control as it pleases, reminiscent of FKJ. So elegant and natural. And just like that, the song forms a continuum, a valley of melody that changes as gradually as dawn, but just as quickly. Ashot’s ability to capture the phenomenon is remarkable. It speaks to his deep understanding of ambient pulse and patterns. He seems to have his own way with it, a language that he celebrates and revels in. Listen Now!
