What was your inspiration behind creating the unique space instrumental “Sci-Fi Wonders”?
“Sci-Fi Wonders” was originally composed as an audio track for a silent animated video clip with a futuristic theme. My goal was to create something distinctive by incorporating a variety of synth sounds, strong beats, and panned effects to evoke a sci-fi environment. I aimed to blend these elements into an experimental EDM/techno house instrumental. This project sparked my passion for music production and inspired me to hone my skills in music technology, marking the pivotal start of my journey as a music producer.
What would you tell someone who’s stepping into your musical world for the first time?
My catalogue predominantly showcases electronic and EDM instrumental music. As a pianist and percussionist, I strive to craft a compelling fusion of enchanting melodies and infectious beats that captivate listeners and leave them wanting more. I dedicate considerable effort to the arrangement and mixing of each track, and I hope listeners appreciate the various audio effects I’ve included. I invite everyone to listen to my music with their eyes closed, allowing their imaginations to soar and helping them unearth forgotten memories.
How has your musical journey been so far? Has it been a smooth sail or one filled with challenges?
I started learning various classical instruments at a young age and pursued music and music technology in secondary school. While I wasn’t particularly fond of classical pieces, I discovered a deep fascination for creating electronic music. Although I decided not to continue my music studies at university, this decision became a pivotal moment in my musical journey. Working in a full-time job unrelated to music only intensified my desire to produce and apply my musical knowledge and skills, ultimately leading me to become an independent music producer.

What inspires you the most as an indie electronic artist? Do you draw inspiration from spontaneous life events, or are your creations methodically planned out?
I listen to a wide variety of K-Pop music with electronic influences, which helps me stay attuned to the latest trends and inspires me to incorporate those techniques into my own work. Additionally, I enjoy attending numerous pop concerts, where I often find fresh inspiration for my compositions.
I consider myself an organised person, so I usually draft a plan for each track before inputting song ideas and structures into my DAW. However, there are moments when I get stuck, even after establishing a framework. Interestingly, I often experience bursts of musical inspiration while in the shower!
Tell us a little about your goal as an artist. Do you believe in art for art’s sake, or is your art more like a spontaneous outlet of emotions?
First and foremost, I am dedicated to expanding my audience and sharing my music with more people around the world. My goal is to evoke emotions and ignite imagination, offering a moment of creative expression amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Additionally, I aspire to challenge myself by exploring and producing music across various genres, including reggae, hip-hop, and house. This exploration will not only diversify my catalogue but also contribute to my personal growth as a music producer.
“Sci-Fi Wonders” sounds both outlandishly interesting and soothingly adventurous. How would you describe the song’s concept?
Imagine embarking on a spontaneous and thrilling journey through the galaxy aboard a spaceship. As you navigate this adventure, objects zip past you, and you take command of the ship, immersing yourself in exhilarating moments of exploration. In the next instant, you find yourself enveloped by breathtaking stars and planets, as the track shifts between two distinct sections that contrast in mood. Approaching the finale, you spiral into a stunning climax where both themes converge, creating a euphoric sensation that elegantly transitions into the outro.
