American rock supergroup Mr. Big is all set to return to India for the third time after 15 years in February 2025 as part of The Big Finish Tour, and fans are super excited to experience the band’s face-melting performance. In India, the band will play at the Bloomverse Festival in Meghalaya on February 14, 2025, and a Bloomverse Express show in Bengaluru on February 16, 2025.
Formed in 1988 by seasoned musicians like Eric Martin on vocals, Billy Sheehan on bass, Paul Gilbert on guitars, and Pat Torpey on drums, Mr. Big is famous for chart-topping songs like To Be With You, Just Take My Heart, and many more from their legendary album Lean Into It, released in the year 1991. After disbanding in 2002 and releasing four more albums, the supergroup reunited again in 2009. The reunion gigs during that time brought the band to Indian shores for a second time, which included shows in Dimapur and Shillong in October 2009
After the demise of Pat Torpey, the original drummer of Mr. Big, the supergroup currently has Nick D’Virgilio on drums, who is originally the drummer of the progressive band Spock’s Beard, and with Nick, the band released their latest album Ten in the year 2024.
