Salt House Lavish – Staring off into Space | Mind Bending

There are people experimenting with all kinds of genres today. Salt House Lavish is one of the few pushing the boundaries of genre using some very complex and mind-bending sound design. The vocals make you think its just another pop song but the sound design just takes the music to another level. Or should I say another dimension. Its as if Salt House Lavish is from a parallel universe where pop music is this complex and psychedelic. I can’t stress enough on how the contrast between the vocals and the sound design just blow the listener’s mind.

Salt House Lavish is a musician, composer, engineer and producer from the North East of England. Currently he isn’t tied to any label or management and just freely experimenting and creating music that he loves. 2019 is the time Salt House Lavish came into the limelight and has since been pushing his boundaries and creating some mind-bending music.

The song starts off with some vocals that are surrounded by some lush ambient noises that sounds like the singer is in the middle of a forest. Its like a post apocalyptic world with creatures lurking in every corner but the singer is in a bubble in the midst of it all, singing her heart away. The industrial sounds just take the listener on a journey while the vocals keep them sane. Anesthetic music that just puts you into a state of trance. The bassline is very unique rolling sound that just propels the music forward into a crescendo.

The song ends with some really cool buzzing outro. What an amazing idea for arrangement! The contrast between the background and the vocals is just mind bending. I can’t wait for more releases from this talented producer. Can he surpass the creativity in this single? I cant wait to find out!

Staring off into space is just one track in a whole album called ‘Take a deep breath people’. Its so exciting that the story just doesn’t end with this track but there is a whole album for me to explore!
