Quarantine Beach is a band of four ardent artists, all belonging to different lands but find a common ground through music. With a British singer, a Dutch keyboard player, a Greek bassist, and a German drummer, the band represents ‘unity in diversity’ in its truest form. Each bringing their own quirks and flairs, the band gets a unique character which is reflected in the the songs it puts out.
Recently, the band released a song called ‘As If I Didn’t Know’. A refreshing synth-pop number with unique drumming, excellent work on the chords, and a synth that adds a lot of warmth to the track, ‘As If I Don’t Know’ is all about feels. It starts with a mystical tune, that instantly sets the mood right for the listener. The song goes on to build up into something really fun. The little retro synth undertone makes the song all the more enjoyable and makes it what it is. A great job on the instruments ensures that the song is not just about its lyrics and a bland catchy tune. In fact, great instrumentality binds all the elements of the song really well and makes it a perfectly concocted piece of art that’s simply beautiful and unique.
