“PSYCHOTRONIC” by Zeistencroix Is Industrial-Rock Power with Bright Energy Swaps, Aggressive Momentum, and Big Contrasts

Zeistencroix, the Los Angeles post-industrial rock duo, is back with an eight-track album “PSYCHOTRONIC”, built around crushing guitars, cinematic electronic textures, and atmospheric sound design. The lyrics tackle the social and psychological factors that can lead toward dystopian futures.

The album came together after their US run, direct support for Crazy Town, and it followed more live activity, including a West Coast tour and shows such as Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles. Ulrich Wild mixed and mastered the record (with past work including Pantera, Deftones, Static-X, and White Zombie).

The album wastes no time setting the tone. It opens with “Get It On”, a track that feels eerie from the start, the kind of song that hooks you because it’s dark but strangely addictive. The heavy, dark vocal work sits right over commanding beats and aggressive riffs, making the whole beginning feel like it’s building pressure before it even fully hits.

From there, the album keeps flexing its range. “Subliminal Intentions” shifts gears fast and goes brighter and more energetic than the opener would make you expect. The vocals sound distorted, but in a way that adds fuel instead of chaos. It’s high-voltage and immediate, and it works because the energy is consistent even when the atmosphere changes.

“Deceiving” starts with a sound that feels like tension you can hear, then it erupts into full industrial-rock force. There’s a clear sense of urgency throughout. There is so much momentum that you end up nodding along without realizing you’re doing it. Even when the songs get brutal, they’re still built for movement.

“Decadence” is another standout, almost like an anthem. It is heavy but also extremely upbeat, with riffs and aggressive rhythm driving the track forward. It delivers exactly what it promises, i.e., bleak, heavy, and relentless.

The closer “My Love” pulls the biggest contrast of the album, opening with acoustic guitar and stripping the intensity down after all that pressure. The quiet parts are where it really shines. The heavier ending lands with less impact, but the contrast still shows what Zeistencroix can do. They’re not just making dark music for the sake of it. They’re shaping a full emotional arc.
