It conjures up images of floating down a misty river or drifting on a cloud. The electronic beats and synths add to this trance-like feel. They swirl and pulse in a way that’s almost mesmerizing. As the different elements layer in, it gets more enveloping and immersive. You can picture closing your eyes and letting the sounds wash over you. There’s a real sense of flow and motion to the song. It transports you to another plane.

“Super Drip” truly lives up to its lengthy 9+ minutes runtime with its sprawling sound design and shifting textures. Opening with a haunting synth pad, it immediately sets an unsettled yet intriguing mood. Glitchy hits and offset rhythms emerge, giving the song an unhinged energy.
As more layers build, the track becomes a dense soundscape of otherworldly tones. However, beneath it all lies a pulsating bassline that holds the song together. Its ominous pulses drive the intensified atmosphere forward. In its closing stages, “Super Drip” by Bad Bubble finds resolution through its simplified textures and relaxed rhythmic groove. Layers strip away to reveal intimate synth programming and a spaced-out emotional clarity. It leaves you with a cathartic release after the prior sonic onslaught.
