Austrian guitarist Rupert Träxler weaves some compelling electronic rock with ‘Atmosphere’

Atmosphere‘ is the latest electronic rock single by Austrian guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Rupert Träxler. His music blends influences from Gojira, Spiritbox, Slipknot, and Rabea Massaad. He has also been a guitarist of Austrian metal bands Elephants in Paradise and Jacobs Moore.

Produced and recorded by himself, Träxler also experiments with AI-enhanced vocals to expand his sonic palette. While his previous single Journey had a more conventional inspirational rock vibe, here the Vienna musician weaves in some imaginative digital sonic textures.

So ‘Atmosphere’ is an electronic rock and Drum N’ Bass track that might remind you of that electronic and alternative rock sound from the early 2000s. Reminds me of Hybrid Theory/Meteora era Linkin Park. Halfway through the song, we get some chunky, groovy guitar riffs which sound glorious set to the electronic arrangement.

But the best moment is a sweet, yummy guitar solo by Rupert Träxler on his Strandberg guitar. Who doesn’t love themselves some tasty guitar phrasing with the apt mix of melodic and shred! And set to this electro rock arrangement, chef’s kiss! Träxler builds up the track really well, building the foundation and then grabbing our attention with the riffs and solo coming in the second half of the track.

The perfect song to start your day and to add on your rock playlists, do spin ‘Atmosphere’ by Rupert Träxler!
