Let us find out what the listeners should expect from this wonderful EP!
The EP starts with the track Waterfall which is somewhat a country-tinged folk song with an upbeat groove and some heartwarming slide guitar playing. Of Course I Do is the song that follows and it brings out Amanda’s acoustic pop influence with its lyrical as well as compositional structure. The next track, Middle of the Night, is a groovy one with a steady rock rhythm section where the drums, bass and guitars go about in perfect sync and it also has an atmospheric vibe about its overall soundscape.
General Consensus, the fourth track of he album, is as the saying goes, “ain’t nothing but the blues!” A super blend of acoustic guitar parts as well as some groovy electric guitar rhythm is what builds the foundation of the song and it is upon this sonic foundation that the rest of the song works out more than just perfectly. The EP concludes with the song Aphrodisia, and this song is again a brilliant one where the lyrics sound like a story being told along with a soothing, peaceful acoustic rhythm section with the guitar strums, percussion and the brush-strokes on the drums set the perfect ambience for the whole concept of the song.
