Karma, Simon Taylor’s latest EP comprises six excellent songs and runs for a duration of approximately twenty minutes. While the writing and arrangement credits of the tracks of this EP go to Simon himself, there are several other musicians whose contributions to the songs make this album what it is.

Let us check out the songs of the EP and what all these tracks have to offer the listeners.

The first song of the EP, Judgement Day is an out-and-out punchy, groovy rock song with numerous vocal harmonies, hard-hitting rhythm guitars, and fantastic organ lines here and there. The Zagreb Sky is the song that follows and this track has a completely different mood than its predecessor as it begins on a note of melancholy with the vocals and the very soothing yet scattered acoustic guitar backing and there is a simple one-chord synth drone that sets the vibe of the song perfectly.

The next song of the EP, Like An Angel, is once again a song with a unique Latin vibe of its own with the groovy percussions and the horn lines that guarantee the authenticity of the genre with their excellent parts in the track. The fourth song, The Girl Can’t Help It, is an upbeat vintage folk-blues kind of track where horn lines are present throughout and the beats just make it a song that you will dance and groove to right from the start.

It doesn’t end here, there’s more!

The following song in the EP is the demo version of the first song, Judgement Day and you will definitely have a different perspective towards the song when you listen to it once again after the first time. The final song of the album is a live version of one of Simon’s songs known as Going Home and this track also comprises melancholic vibes that attract you right from the first moment.
