KSS Deliver Ethereal & Angelic Chorals with ‘Magnificat’

KSS is The Women’s Choral Society of the University of Oslo under the direction of conductor Marit Tøndel Bodsberg Weyde. They have established themselves over the years with stirring and absorbing performances. For their latest release, ‘Magnificat’ KSS takes on a new direction, in collaboration with jazz musicians Ellen Andrea Wang and Kjetil Bjerkestrand. Magnificat puts the Song of Mary to music. It perceives the divine intuition and clairvoyance of Mary, knowing that she will give birth to the Son of God. This composition by Andrea Wang is one of the few ones written by women. It is ethereal, elevating, and angelic. Listen Now!
