Komaframe-Working on a new brain

Komaframe brings a surreal soundscape designed for psychedelics with “Working on a new brain”

Komaframe can engineer a new reality for you. The multi-instrumentalist from Rome, Italy was born to play music. After experience in bands, he evolves to fabricate something in his fantastical world of new views and venues. If you aren’t able to picture this, worry not. He’s Working on a new brain.

The post rock essence pours through with this track’s opening. It is rich, textured and yet doesn’t distract tonally. When each instrument comes to aid to the ambience, there is a build happening, without your knowledge, in the background. An instrumental delight, this could easily be your walk in music if you were cool enough. Komaframe has already captured a lot of attention with songs like April and Blue Drama. Making something that is distinctive yet catchy has become something of a speciality.

A flood of colourful fusions

You’re taken through something of a chronological journey with this song. I found it to be incredibly well detailed and structured, with the narrative never being rushed. It was almost a psychedelic trance to be absorbed into the synth lead with the blending, incredible effects coming in to make a powerful impact.

If you thought it was over then, there’s a spy thriller kind of lead that pops up soon after. In the relatively shorter length of this song, you’re treated to a plethora of sounds and styles. Komaframe uses each song as a different medium of art-each exploring a tenacious and vivid depiction of multi-instrumental compositions.
