“Kirk Pasich Project Presents a Scout Durwood Christmas” Is a New Album for the Holiday Season by The Kirk Pasich Project

The Kirk Pasich Project marks a new venture for Pasich, aiming to realize his production ideas through collaborations with diverse artists. As a self-proclaimed music enthusiast, Pasich attributes the project’s inception to the talented community of musicians that surrounds him, serving as his inspiration. Drawing parallels to the Alan Parsons Project, which released a series of concept albums featuring various talents from 1976 to 1987, Pasich’s project is a testament to the power of collaboration and the exploration of musical creativity within a collective framework.

The Kirk Pasich Project’s new holiday season album titled “Kirk Pasich Project Presents A Scout Durwood Christmas” is out with a total of 12 songs.

The album starts with “What Christmas Means To Me” featuring fun sounds and enthusiastic vocals. The nostalgic/ fun synths and amazing beats make up for such a happening vibe along with Scout’s highly power-packed vocal delivery that will make you dance from the get go! What an astounding start for the album.

“A Marshmallow Word” calms down, giving listeners time to take a breath. The melodious synths, the dreamy ambiance, lively synths, and bell sounds with laid-back beats all come together cohesively. Scout’s vocals are emotive and passionate, and she surely sings her heart out. I just loved the sprinkles of child voice in between, making for an extremely heart-warming experience.

“Ain’t Nothin’ Like Christmas” by the Kirk Pasich Project in collaboration with Scout Durwood starts slow but evolves into a such an enjoyable track that will surely leave you in awe, while you tap your feet along.

“Christmas in L.A.” takes the melodic turn yet again. The song is a blend of soothing and nostalgia with a tinge of sadness that I could sense in the vocals. The song is a slow, mellifluous journey with rich instrumentation like amazing guitar work, drums, synths all coming together in the most beautiful way possible. Chorus deserves a special appreciation that elevates the overall emotional punch in the song.

“Rise Up Shepherd” by Kirk Pasich Project is an anthem you need to get out of your blues. The energetic beats, happening sounds, such amazing vocals, and chorus make up for such a folk pop song that will make your day!

“Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep” is a beautiful rendition of the original song by Irving Berlin. The emotive and soothing keys, combined with Scout Durwood’s vocals, are more than enough to calm your soul. Describing it as beautiful would be an understatement.

“Jingle Bell Rock” is a delightful and fun rendition of the original. The song has an easy-going vibe, and Scout’s versatile vocals shine through, adding a unique touch to the holiday classic.

Who doesn’t love the iconic “Snowman” by Sia? This rendition by Scout Durwood is sure to become another favorite addition to your holiday playlist. Scout’s powerful vocals, combined with retro synths, keys, and slow beats, create a dreamy aura. The chorus is simply magical, and all I did was close my eyes and vibe along. The song reaches the epitome of brilliance toward the end, it  is just magical!

“Naughty List” brings back a lively and enjoyable vibe. The playful atmosphere of the song induces constant smiles and encourages dancing to its cheerful combination of bells, beats, and synths.

In “Ugly Sweater Blues,” Scout’s vocal prowess gets the opportunity to shine because of minimal instrumentation. The guitar solo midway through the song was another highlight for me. The track carries a subtle, upbeat vibe coupled with a touch of melancholy, which I absolutely loved.

“Merry Christmas – I Don’t Want to Fight” by Kirk Pasich Project is the most energetic song of the whole lot! What energy, what enthusiasm! The song takes no time to kick in that energy. The punk-pop song is extremely fast-paced, from synths to beats with high adrenaline-rush-like vocal work. I am sure you will be a go-getter after listening to this earworm!

Finally, we have “White Christmas,” which serves as a calming counterpart to the energy experienced in the previous song. This soulful and soothing track is nothing short of gorgeous. The beautiful work of horns, keys, and vocals are worthy of multiple listens. It has the power to transport you to a dreamland.
